It is the upgraded version of Lava Iris 501
Indian handset maker, Lava will soon launch an upgraded version of its older Iris 501 smartphone for around Rs 10,000m same as its predecessor.
Incidentally, Lava launched the Iris 501 for Rs 9,500 last month itself. It has a 5 inch screen, Android ICS, 1 GHz dual core processor, and a 2300 mAH battery. The Iris 501 had impressed us with its performance and we expect the new Iris smartphone to be even better.
This Lava Iris 502 will come with a better look and feel. It will have almost identical specification like the Iris 501 such as a 5 inch screen, sources familiar with the development told The Mobile Indian.
It is expected to be launched within next 5-10 days.
Lava has sent out invite for the launch of the new Iris Pro series smartphone on January 17.
Snapdeal is now offering the new Iris 505 for Rs 8,999 and Iris 506q at Rs 11,700.
The flagship phone of the new series will be a quad core Android smartphone.
Lava Z7C+ comes with a 1 GHz single core processor, 3G SIM support, GPS and 7 inch display but is based on Android 4.0.
The quad core Android smartphone featuring Android Jelly Bean will be made available starting 25 June.
Android 4.2 based Lava Iris 504q has a large 5 inch HD 720p IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core MediaTek processor and 1 GB of RAM.
The phone has decent features
Lava Iris 401e is a 2G only Android 2.3 based smartphone that comes with a 1 GHz processor and 1500 mAh battery.
According to Lava, this feature will allow a user to interact with the phone and use the camera with just a swipe of his hand in the air.
