Huawei has quietly announced a new lower mid-range smartphone with dual-core mobile processor and features 4.5-inch touchscreen display. The Czech website Mobilenet reported about the Huawei Ascend G510 smartphone with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update.
Huawei Ascend G510 joins the Ascend series of smartphones with a 4.5-inch IPS panel display that supports 854x480 pixel resolution natively. It houses a dual-core 1.2 GHz Mediatek MT6577 mobile processor paired with 512 MB RAM and mere 4 GB on-board storage. There is also a memory card slot to accommodate a microSD card.
The Ascend G510 appears to be aimed at the budget level smartphones with larger display. The Ascend G510 has a PowerVR SGX 531 graphics chip that will power most of the modern mobile games and also run the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update smoothly on it.
Huawei has added 1700 mAh battery and thus expected to run for a day at least. Huawei is expects to make the Ascend G510 available across Europe in the second quarter of this year.
