Lava X50+ 4G VoLTE smartphone with 5.5 inch display launched at Rs 9,199

The Lava X50+ runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Lava has silently launched its new smartphone, Lava X50+ priced at Rs 9,199. The smartphone is listed on company's official website but as of now is not available for purchase. Lava X50+ comes in Blue and White-Gold colours.

The Lava X50+ features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display thus offering a pixel density of 267 ppi. It is armed with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 32GB micro SD card slot. The Lava X50+ runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The phone has a 2800 mAh battery with Power Saver Mode.

The Lava X50+ has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera on the front. Both the cameras come with LED flash light support. The rear camera has features like Face Beauty, Panorama Mode, Time Lapse Video, Slow Motion Video. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM (4G + 4G), 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, a micro USB port, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor. The phone has additional features like Flip to Mute, 11 Indian languages Support, Smart Gestures, Swipe to Capture, One Hand Operation. The handset measures 155*71.8*8.85mm and weighs 155 grams.

The Lava X50+ seems to be the successor of Lava X50 which was launched a few months back at Rs 8,699. It has almost the same set of specs as of Lava X50 except for operating system and memory configuration. Lava X50+ has Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system instead of Android 5.1 Lollipop in Lava X50 and 32GB of internal storage instead of 8GB in X50.
