Intex has announced the launch of two Aqua series phones - Aqua 5.5 VR and Intex Aqua Craze II. The Aqua 5.5 VR is priced at Rs 5,099 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart from October 19th onwards. The Aqua Craze II to cost Rs 5,999 and will be available through offline retail channels. Both the smart phones come pre-loaded with VAS benefits worth Rs 2,849 and benefits are valid till November 30.
As the name suggest, Intex Aqua 5.5 VR comes with VR functionality. It has a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek(MT6737V/W) processor, which is paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a 2800 mAh battery.
The Aqua 5.5 VR comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 32GB via micro SD card. The device sports a 5-megapixel camera module on its back, as well as on the front. The rear camera comes with Dual LED flash light, while the front camera has Single LED flash. Besides, the Aqua 5.5 VR offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a micro USB port, Emergency rescue, G-sensor.
On the other hand, the Intex Aqua Craze II has a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and a 1.3 GHz quad-core (SC9832A) processor, which is paired with 1GB of RAM and Mali-400MP GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a 2500 mAh battery. The Aqua Craze II comes with 8GB of internal storage as well as a 32GB micro SD card slot.
The Aqua Craze II sports a 5-megapixel camera module on its back, as well as on the front. The rear camera comes with LED flash light. The camera features include Face Beauty, Panorama Mode, GIF, and Slow Motion Video. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n),Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS/Glonass, a micro USB port, Emergency rescue, G-sensor, Proximity and Light-sensor. The handset measures 145 x 73 x 8.8 mm and weighs 156 grams.
"Both Aqua 5.5 VR & Aqua Craze II include Intex's in-house VAS named LFTY - Experience the New Left and MATRABHASHA. Left screen concept aims at providing a seamless cohesive mix of multi-category content and value adds to the end consumer on the left screen. A single screen for multiple utilities and content categories i.e. access to content and utilities in 1 swipe - Video, Music, News, Shopping, Weather, Twitter, Best Apps et al. Further, this helps in filtering pop-ups/distractions on the home screen. With Matrabhasha feature, users will be able to tweet, text, post and WhatsApp in over 21 Indian regional languages," Intex said in a press note.
The smartphone has a Dual LED flash on its rear panel.
The first flash sale is scheduled to be held on November 25th.
For the Delhi-based firm, the move marks its foray into larger screen LED TV's, and should make for an interesting battle with incumbents including TCL, which launched its own 65 inch LED last week.
Intex Aqua Power M comes in Champagne colour.
The key features in the smart LED TV models include N-Screen wireless mirroring, Digital Noise Reduction and a built-in Hi-Fi system that enables "Sound Alone Effect".
