Vivo Y55L has the latest Android Marshmallow operating system and a dedicated micro SD card slot.
Vivo today announced the launch of Y55 in India at Rs 11,980. It will be available from October 10 but only through offline channels.
The Vivo Y55L has a 5.2 inch HD display and the 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 octa core processor. This Android Marshmallow based smartphone has 2 GB RAM and Vivo's Funtouch user interface.
Vivo Y55L has a metal body and a dual SIM card tray. There is a micro SD tray is also there. It has 16 GB of internal storage to which you can add another 128 GB through its expandable storage slot. It has OTG support as well.
The Vivo Y55L has a 2650 mAh battery. Besides, it has dual SIM slot, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (VGN), Adreno 505 graphics processor, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, WiFi Hotspot and 4G.
On its back, it has 13MP shooter with LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF).
The smartphone is the successor of Vivo Y21 smartphone lunched earlier this year.

Both Vivo V3 and V3 Max come with full metal body, HiFi music technology and fingerprint scanner.
Vivo Y31L is now listed on company's official website with features and specifications.
The device is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
Vivo launches three phones in India under Rs 13,000
All the three smartphones come with the latest Android Lollipop operating system as well as a 13 megapixel rear camera.
The new Vivo V1 and Vivo V1 Max are priced in the range of Rs 15,000 - 20,000.
The smartphones sports 4.45 mm thickness and is claimed to be world's slimmest smartphones.
