Moto G4 Play doesn't have as good specs as some other phones in the price range but with Motorola brand, it may become a bestseller.
Moto G4 Play is now available in India. Priced at Rs 8,999, the phone will definitely give other handsets under Rs 10,000 a tough competition owing to its brand value though it doesn’t have the best of specs in the price range.

The Motorola Moto G4 Play features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with water repellent nano-coating. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, which is clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, and has an optional expandable memory slot of 128GB capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and is packed with a 2800 mAh battery.
The Moto G4 Play sports an 8-megapixel shooter with LED flash light on its back, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front. The rear camera has ƒ/2.2 aperture, Tap (anywhere) to capture, 4X digital zoom, Burst mode, Auto HDR, Panorama, Drag to focus & exposure, and 1080p HD video (30 fps) recording features. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Accelerometer, Proximity and Ambient Light sensors. The handset measures 144.4 x 72 x 8.95-9.9 mm and weighs around 137 grams.
JBL Soundboost, Hasselblad True Zoom Camera, Insta share projector, Incipio Off grid power pack mods will also be available but will cost extra.
On paper, Redmi 3S Prime certainly looks better with an extra GB RAM, better processor and massive battery. But one has to note the difference between the Android skins.
The Moto G4 Plus has been launched in two versions - one with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal at Rs 13,499 and another with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of ROM at Rs 14,999.
Moto 360 Sport is water and dust resistant and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
The normal Moto G Turbo is available for just Rs 12,499.
Motorola Moto X Play is still a good handset but Vibe X3 has few extra features.
